What is it Like to Work with Me?
I love what I do, and I tend to get excited when I get an idea, or when the light is perfect, and everything is really "clicking." One more shot will always be a lie, and I'm not even sorry. You'll thank me later because sometimes those last crazy ideas are the best. Also, if God paints us a sunset, we will be there a little bit longer.
I am a perfectionist. I edit out the distractions in your images. I love natural, rich colors, and there will be no trendy yellow/orange filters here. Grass will be green in your photos.
My favorite camera is the Canon R5 mirrorless. I use a calibrated monitor, a light hand in photoshop, and I use lighting to capture the shot so it's crisp and clear.
I attend photography schools and workshops every year because I am driven to be better than I was yesterday, and I am friends with photographers inside the state and beyond and love to watch them succeed.
I've been married to my husband for 32 years, and we raised 2 great kids who played almost every sport. I love animals, and I have a long history of rescuing and collecting them, so ignore the cat hair on my camera bag. That's Ryder's favorite spot when I come home.
I CAN'T WAIT TO WORK WITH YOU!
My 2 Favorite Moments:
- 01
-
When I show a senior the back of the camera, and their face lights up and they see that they are beautiful or even just cool.
- 02
-
When the "not excited about senior pictures" kid tells his Mom on the way home, "I actually had fun." Day. Made.
